THE JOBSCOPE
- Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises to identify and address security concerns.
- Monitor security cameras and alarms to detect any suspicious activities.
- Verify the identity of individuals entering the hotel, ensuring only authorized personnel have access to restricted areas.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical incidents, fire alarms, and security breaches.
- Coordinate with local authorities if necessary and follow established emergency response protocols.
- Provide a visible and approachable security presence, assisting guests with inquiries and addressing concerns professionally.
- Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure a positive and secure guest experience.
- Document all security-related incidents and prepare detailed reports for management.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including patrols and incidents.
- Work closely with other departments to address security needs and concerns.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures and first aid.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform routine patrols on foot.
- Familiarity with security systems, including CCTV and access control systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School or diploma or equivalent.; additional qualifications will be a plus
- A valid security industry license or accepted certificate of security competence
