THE JOBSCOPE
- Assist in basic food preparation (washing, cutting, portioning, and cooking support).
- Support Chef de Partie and kitchen team in daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare food items according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure timely food preparation for banquet and event service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen workstations at all times.
- Follow food safety and HACCP standards.
- Assist in setting up food stations for events and functions.
- Properly store, label, and manage food ingredients.
- Support stock handling and basic inventory control.
- Work closely with banquet and service teams during events.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as Commis or in kitchen operations
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
- Able to work in a fast-paced banquet/event environment
- Good teamwork and willingness to learn
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Physically fit for kitchen duties
