THE JOBSCOPE
- Coordinating event specifics with sales and culinary teams.
- Designing venue layout based on guest count and event theme.
- Determining staffing requirements for waitstaff and servers.
- Supervising setup of tables, chairs, and tableware.
- Collaborating with Chef on meal course timing.
- Directing guest seating, meal service, and table clearing.
- Ensuring availability of liquor and soft drinks as needed.
- Creating work schedules and completing paperwork promptly.
- Addressing customer inquiries and accommodating special requests.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years of experience in banquet management, or similar.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Knowledge of banquet service etiquette, procedures, and safety standards.
- Extensive knowledge of catering equipment and venue requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school or relevant certification is a plus
