Dickson Kong

Chief Executive Officer

Dickson heads UOA Hospitality, the hospitality arm of UOA Group since he first joined UOA in 2016. As the Chief Executive Officer, he is responsible for the division’s expansion, branding and operations, and provides overall leadership and strategic direction in all aspects for the company.
Sam Khoo
Head of Hospitality
Sam Khoo is a seasoned professional with a wealth of expertise spanning more than a decade in property, retail, and hospitality management. With an impressive track record, she has consistently demonstrated her prowess in these sectors. Currently, as the Head of Hospitality at UOA Hospitality, Sam leads with a passion for excellence, leveraging her extensive background to drive innovation and elevate the guest experience. Her leadership and commitment to delivering exceptional results make her a formidable force in the industry.
Tony Ho
Deputy Head of Hospitality
Tony has spent over 28 years in various international brands across the hospitality industry. In addition to being a vital part of various management teams, he has previously held positions like Country Head for The Ascott Limited Malaysia, responsible for overall profitability, asset enhancement and growth for the organisation. Tony’s expertise also extends to pre-opening projects where he leads the launch of new hotels. He successfully managed the opening of the first Capri by Fraser brand in Malaysia and has since spearheaded the establishment of the first independent hotel brand for UOA. With his experience in building business volumes and maximising profitability, Tony will oversee the Group’s direction to bring UOA Hospitality to greater heights.
Brendon Lee
Corporate General Manager – Conferences, Food & Beverages
With a rich background in hotel, conference and events, as well as F&B management, Brendon’s journey began at Ritz-Carlton, Grand Hyatt, and Resorts World in Singapore. He then took on a pivotal role at Pu Tien Group, leading the operations team to launch the initial Pu Tien restaurants in Singapore and Malaysia. Renowned for his natural leadership and business acumen, Brendon consistently showcases strategic expertise in ensuring efficiency, profitability, and overall business growth while overseeing the overall food & beverage operations for the Group. In his new capacity, Brendon will continue to supervise and bolster UOA Hospitality’s expansion, focusing on shaping the organisational culture, seeking growth opportunities, and cultivating strategic partnerships.
Choo So Yee
Vice President of Finance
So Yee has over 20 years of experience working in finance, with a strong track record in leadership positions within the hospitality industry. She combines a deep understanding of financial instruments and processes with the capacity to adopt new concepts in the setting up of accounting departments, system reviews and financial reporting. From pre-opening to the implementation of financial systems, policies and procedures, So Yee is dedicated to supporting a successful business.
Yan Swee Foong
Vice President of Procurement
Swee Foong is a seasoned procurement leader with over two decades of experience driving strategic sourcing and operational excellence across the hospitality sector. She leads the implementation of robust procurement frameworks and initiatives across the company’s portfolio of properties, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational efficiency. Her career includes procurement roles at esteemed establishments such as Eastin Hotel, Pan Pacific Hotel, IHG where she successfully led purchasing functions and streamlined procurement operations. Since joining the organization in 2014, Swee Foong has been instrumental in elevating procurement performance through her expertise in cluster procurement, contracts, and special projects. Her leadership continues to contribute to improved cost management, supplier performance, and value creation.
Mok Sau Wai
Director of Human Resources
Sau Wai is passionate about driving HR strategies that increase effectiveness, transform cultures, promote collaboration and develop high-performing leaders for the organisation. Over the last 15 years, she has held HR positions in The Ascott Limited Malaysia and Ritz-Carlton Kuala Lumpur with experience spanning cluster HR management and a full spectrum of HR functions included training & development. Recognised in the hospitality industry for her experience and expertise, Sau Wai is dedicated to creating a culture of high performance and continuous learning that will build the company’s human capital capabilities and talent pipeline to meet immediate and long-term business objectives.
Lanise Loo
Director of Sales & Strategic Partnership
Lanise is a seasoned hospitality sales leader with a proven track record in driving commercial success and building strategic partnerships. As Director of Sales and Strategic Partnerships at UOA Hospitality, she plays a key role in expanding market reach and strengthening collaboration across business units. Her prior roles as Director of Sales and Marketing at Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur and Renaissance Johor Bahru reflect her expertise in leading sales and marketing for internationally recognized hotel brands. With a strong reputation for strategic thinking and relationship-building, Lanise is instrumental in shaping the group’s growth and positioning in the competitive hospitality landscape.
